Beliefs
BIBLE
We believe the Bible is God’s written revelation to man. It is verbally inspired in every word, and absolutely inerrant in the original documents. We affirm the infallibility, sufficiency, and authority of Scripture.
GOD
We believe that there is but one Living and true God, an infinite, all-knowing Spirit, perfect in all His attributes, one in essence, eternally existing in three Persons — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – each equally deserving worship and obedience.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the deity and perfect humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only mediator between God and men. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life and sacrificial death on the cross as the only substitute for sinners; His burial, bodily resurrection and ascension to heaven; His high priestly ministry and personal return in power and glory.
HOLY SPIRIT
We Believe He is the supernatural and sovereign Agent in regeneration. The Holy Spirit baptizes all believers into the Body of Christ at the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit also indwells, sanctifies, instructs, empowers them for service, and seals them unto the day of redemption
MAN
We believe man was created in the image of God. Sin entered through Adam’s disobedience. All men are fallen and totally depraved. They are subject to God’s wrath and condemnation and have a responsibility to repent and believe the Gospel.
THE DEVIL
We believe in the personality of the devil, his evil activity and final doom.
SALVATION
We believe that all people are sinful and lost and need salvation. Salvation is wholly of God, by grace alone, on the basis of the redeeming work of Jesus Christ and the merit of His blood shed on the Cross. Salvation is instantaneous and accomplished solely by the power of the Holy Spirit through the instrumentality of the Word of God when the repentant sinner — enabled by the Holy Spirit — responds in faith. All the redeemed are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever.
FUTURE
We believe the soul is immortal, the body will be resurrected, the believer will know eternal joy in heaven but those who die impenitent will experience conscious eternal punishment in hell.
HEALING
We believe God has power to heal every disease and sickness and it is right to ask him to do so. But we also believe that it is wrong for us to expect Him to do so on every occasion. We cannot expect to live in mortal bodies without experiencing sickness, pain and death. It is right to ask God for healing, but we must remember He may plan to bring greater glory to His Name through our illness.
